New cards at Blue Island Press

I am delighted to be working with Blue Island Press on a series of fine art cards, notecards and calendars.  Toby and Montessa have an eye for layout and imagery that brought to life images of mine that made me look at them in a whole different light.

Yesterday, a set of samples arrived in the post.  The quality of the printing and paper, the delicacy of the colours and absolutely lovely story on the back of each card has taken my artwork to a whole new level.

New work on canvas

Dear Frooters

A belated Happy New Year.  I hope 2014 is fabulous for you.

I realise I haven't been posting lately (Most of my updates are now made on Facebook: look for Gabby Malpas Artist)... but here is a progressive set of pictures for my new project - work on canvas.

I'm using watercolour, gouache and ink as I want to retain that water-coloury goodness
